Promethean Knights' "golden energy" to fuel shield

Hey!

I must know: Is it in some way possible for it to power up or refill or somehow be used in relation to Chief’s/A spartan’s energy-shield (you know, ur shield… :P)???

I just tried it in Halo 4, on Easy, and it didn’t do any difference to the shield’s regeneration or anything when I stood in the glow.
-But, I’m thinking, it might be different in Halo 5 (haven’t played it yet), or on some other difficulty, or by some skull or anything(?).

-Oh. And “that energy” doesn’t have to be dropped by specifically Promethean Knights; -In case there are others that drop it.

I believe the main purpose of this glowing stuff to be that the promethean unit (mainly Knight), who leaves it after being destroyed, can be regenerated by a Watcher. Hence forcing you to remain vigilant as the unit can return. Other than that, it is also very nice from an aesthetical point of view. In other words, it looks cool ^^

So no, it does not affect your energy shield in any way.
