Looking back at the E3 video when the Warden Eternal states “The Master Chief is called…”
Is it possible that the Prometheans, or at least a group of them, are allying themselves with Chief?
Maybe it’ll be like when the flood teamed up with Chief for two minutes. Only for their nefarious purposes. 
Possible I guess. Now that Ur-Didacts gone, who’s even charge of the Prometheans?
Chief technically defeated the Didact, so it would be logical to see the Chief considered a leader by the prometheans.

I kind of assumed the Prometheans were using the Chief rather than allying themselves, similar to 343 in the original Halo or the Flood in 3.Maybe they need him to understand why the composer doesn’t affect him, maybe his genetic change means they need him to activate something…In any case I don’t think alliance is entirely accurate.

Like Danny Glover in Predator 2, he kills one and therefore gains their honor. That also reminds me, there hasn’t been any footage of Blue Team encountering Prometheans, maybe they are showing up to delay Fireteam Osiris in reaching Blue Team and you don’t actually encounter them while controlling Chief (just a wild speculative thought).

It is possible the Prometheans could ally with the Chief. I mean heck in the beginning of halo 4 the only reason they seemed to attack Chief was to stop him from getting to the Didact. Not too far fetched to think other Prometheans would be under friendly control from the Librarian or another individual.

It could be possible. Maybe we’ll figure it out when we play it.

Which is odd, since there’s another clip showing him on a similar green planet talking to WE. On the other hand, we don’t know the order of the clips. I suspect that the Chief creates an alliance or ceasefire of some sort, but who knows how long that will hold.

Completely agree. I would guess that the fight with WE takes place before the later discussions.

Its the same planet, the question is…which planet is this taking place on? It sure as hell isn’t Sanghelios and there are only supposed to be 3 planets in the game. Its likely the two clips take place in the same mission on this planet.

There’s at least 15 missions, so I wouldn’t be surprised if there were more hidden locations. One of the trailers seems to show a Lava planet in addition to the Jungle Planet and Sanghelios.

Seems there is a fourth planet/locale? We have Meridian, Sanghellios, Kamchatka and whatever this place is - grassy, forerunner environment with rocks and mountain formation? We also have argent moon as a location.

I am confident the lava planet is Meridian.
