Hello, 343.
You now hold Halo 2 as a game of your own, but have yet to do anything with it, and apparently, nor do you plan too. If we as a community, can raise enough funds to buy some new servers for Halo 2 so it may be played again, would you go along with it? Halo 2 is one of the most played games in history, and since you’ve taken it over it’s been neglected. If you’re not going to take care of it, let a 3rd party take over it. Thank you for reading.

I would honestly prefer if they ported Halo 2. I wouldn’t mind a brand new copy with support for Xbox 360 LIVE features like party chat and beacons. It wouldn’t have to be a remake a la Anniversary, either - just a straight port to the Xbox 360.

love this idea but we would need the map packes some how(no stores around have them)
This is a great idea, this shouldn’t be too costly and it’s an easy sale for 343i, just port it to the new Xbox or the 360 and fix the graphical glitches and they’re done, maybe add Halo 2 Vista’s graphics improvement but otherwise this’ll be one of the best things they can do for us. I’d rather get Halo 2 ported than a remake of only the campaign for our 10 year anniversary. C’mon 343i this’ll be the last thing we would want from you, other than for you to finish the Reclaimer Trilogy.

They wouldnt even need to release more discs. They could just release it to games on demand.

This. My Halo 2 disc is scratched up beyond recognition. That’s what I get for letting my friend borrow it ;n;
They could just put it on Xbox Live Arcade and update the matchmaking system, halo ce & 2 made xbox what it is today so microsoft/343i should be grateful enough to do something like this .
