Progression systems and paid content

I live in Australia, the southern part of it at that, so as you can imagine in general I have high queue times and frequently have high ping servers if I find a game.

The problem here is that I keep getting challenges that require specific playlists and/or require wins. Most of the popular playlists take an average of 10 minutes to find a match. The other playlists it’s 20+ mins, and that’s IF I find a match in them. Having the challenge system as the only way of progressing in the battlepass, which is content I paid for, is utterly rediculous. So the current system isn’t just flawed within the context of the game; it’s flawed in terms of how it effects paid content. I do have the option of doing bot matches and grinding down the daily chellenges every day, but that means I have deminishing returns (to an extent) on how I get to interact with the content I paid for.

A solution to this would be making challenges that are completable regardless of playlists.
Although the ideal solution would be a system that rewards XP for stuff like performance, campaign performance, etc that isn’t dependant on challenges exclusively.

I’m pretty tired atm, so if some of the things I said don’t make sense point them out to me and I’ll try again to say what I mean.
