Will there be a xp progression system with military ranks or sr ranks in halo infinite like halo 3 or MCC (Halo5) or we only get the battle pass progression?
im a little bit confused about it…
My understanding is that if you took MCC’s challenge and BP system, locked the majority of the battlepass behind a paywall, and removed all other types of progress measurement, then thats Infinite’s progression sytem. Excited yet? Hopefully there is some kind of visual sign that indicates your progress to others. Like at least a battlepass tier badge or something that eventually differentiates a game veteran from a player who just downloaded the game.

I’m scared that they’re doing seasonal ranks similar to how cod has been doing it as of late… Only a lot worse with every part of progression being locked behind challenges.
Like how hard is it to just copy paste any system from any previous halo game.
Hoping the backlash they’re receiving will make them change their mind.
Edit: with seasonal ranks I mean ranks that soft reset at every new season launch, quite -Yoink- system that removes any point in having a progression system to begin with.

oh -Yoink- this sounds terrible 
and has no progression like you said.
I hope for Military Rank systems too tbh. It’s maybe not the biggest detail but it would fit perfectly in this “Spartan Academy” setting.

Exactly, having levels be shown in a similar way to 3 or reach would fit perfectly with their “journey with your own spartan fresh from the academy” setting
