i don’t know what is happening but it is resetting everything.

Do you have 2 xbox ones?
Just a stab in the dark…but if you do then it’ll be that you signed into one console and copy of halo…then signed your profile into another console without backing out properly.
Turn them both off and on (hold power button for 10 seconds)
make sure they have both been properly turned off at the same time.
Also make sure your profile doesn’t automatically sign in when you turn the console on or you will forever be doing this
If you only have one xbox and are “sharing gold” with a friend then put a password on your profile.
