I have endured hell with this game. I love it. I truly do.
But I have had no play with no REQ services, online capabilities or anything other than Solo Campaign for over a month. I have tried just about ever recommended solution on Halo Waypoint, the Forums or across the Internet, and I have had enough. I need this fixed because this SHOULD NOT be happening. I can still join friends, which is the only way I can play, but even then, I have no customization options, REQ services or post game stats. I also cannot host or even play in my own fire team.
I know for a fact this isn’t a problem with my Internet, every other game I play has no lag, lately issues or anything along those lines. I have never been banned, so that’s not the issue and despite what everyone one else on the forum says, my NAT Type is 100% Open.
So simply, how is this gonna be fixed? I love this franchise and love what 343 has done with Halo 5. So now I just want to be able to play it and enjoy it like every other loyal halo player.
I believe this is the 343/ms servers. I hope they have some kind of fix in tomorrow’s update.
I 100% agree.
THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE!!! I’ve had Halo 5 DAY 1 and I always get bloody lag issues!!! I get lag issues when playing Arena, Custom games (I lag sometimes even with my own hosted custom games!!!) Don’t even get me started with Co-op. Doing a single mission without lag is a miracle!!!
Lately I’ve been getting profile sync errors all the time!!!
I like you 343 but this is outrageous!!! Fix your stupid servers and let us fans play the game!!! I’M OVER IT!
I always start receiving sync errors around 7-9 at night in Australia here and after that the game is near unplayable. Do we really deserve this garbage after all we’ve to support the franchise? Those other games are looking really enticing…
Even after a 4.1 GB update I’m still getting PROFILE SYNC ERROR. And no REQ SERVICE. What’s the go 343?

Yeah, the update did not fix this issue. I am experiencing it as well.
Have you tried completely deleting the game from your console and then reinstalling the game (if digitally owned) and/or fetching all the updates again? If that doesn’t work last resort would be completely resetting your Xbox to factory, which would cause everything to be erased.
The only thing i can suggest is, when you get to the main Halo 5 title page in the game Do not press the Start button to get to the main menu, wait for like 60 seconds or 30 seconds for the game to kinda download your details in the background and than start, keep trying this till the game fixes the issue
