I keep getting a profile sync error on Halo 5:Guardians and have been for the last half hour at least. Microsoft support is useless in dealing with the issue. I had just opened a Gold Requisition pack when I got the error, and that pack unlocked the Interceptor Rictus Helmet and the Primeval Visor. Both of them show up as unlocked on my Requisitions> Customizations screen, but neither of them show up on the actual Customizations screen.

Waypoint was experiencing issues earlier, which could have been due to general Halo 5 profile server issues. Waypoint seems to be in working order again as of this post, so my suggestion would be to hard reset your console and reboot Halo 5; that usually solves profile sync errors.

Thank you for the reply. I have done this multiple times over the past hour that I’ve been in chat with Microsoft support. I’ve got pictures of my screen proving the existence of the error I described here. This issue still persists after multiple hard resets, reboots, modem reboots.

Unfortunate. You said that the items appear in the REQ Collections screen. Have you tried equipping the items from that screen, instead of trying to equip them from the Customize Spartan screen?

Once I discovered they were unlocked there I tried equipping them immediately from the Collections screen. The names of the helmet and Visor show up as being equipped on the Customizations screen, and the Collections screen highlights them with an arrow in the corner signifying they’re equipped, but they are not.

Mmm, this sounds like a problem beyond the help of basic troubleshooting. I suggest you attempt to more directly contact a 343i rep who could look into this, via twitter (Unyshek or ske7ch) or reddit.
