PROFILE & SERVER ISSUE: STATS/RANKS ARE GONE!

343, I think your servers are messed up and it’s rather annoying since I’m unable to access core aspects of the game. Earlier today I played FFA, placed in the onyx division and as of 2 hours ago, I cannot access key functions of the game. My profile seems to be effected as well. The problems are below:

  • My rank (SR) is showing as 1 when I’m actually upper 60’s and none of my stats are coming up - All my friends rank show 1 and none of their stats come up either - It’s showing that I haven’t played any placement games when I have already been placed in onyx for FFA in March (check waypoint/halotracker for verification) - I cannot access my profile on the waypoint app - I cannot access my profile on halowaypoint.com - I cannot access REQs (showing a balance of 0 when I have more than that) - I cannot access boosts - All the Spartans I face in MM have the same white emblem - When I’m able to play a game, none of my stats (W/L, KDA, etc.) seem to be recorded anywhereI have hard reset my Xbox and nothing seems to be working.

Is anyone else having this problem? As you can imagine, this is very frustrating to say the least. All I want to do is rank up in FFA and now I’m nervous to even play because I don’t want to mess up my rank progress that I already have for this season. I checked halotracker.com and my onyx placement has been confirmed but the 343 managed websites, apps, and game seem to be very problematic.

Please address ASAP so I know what’s going on. Thank you…

Update: I’ve called Xbox support and even cleared my local saved games (as one of the comments suggested) and nothing has changed. This seems to be a 343/profile issue as I can’t access my stats on the game, app, or website.

Remove your account from your system and then recover it. I get almost every problem I’ve read about in this forum. I have to rinse and repeat occasionally. Don’t blame me if it doesn’t always work, I didn’t hand the game to 343i.

Having this problem aswell. I have cleared local saves and recovered my gamertag still nothing shows.

I have the same problem, clearing local save did nothing.

I talked to microsoft xbox one support about this, after rebooting my profile, they gave up and said:

You’re going to want to contact 343i and give them a complete bug report, and my suggestion would be to delete all local Halo 5 content (Including the game), then Hard Reset your Xbox to clear any cached data and re-download the content. This resolved the issue for me, but I definitely cannot guarantee results.

This is happening to me too. Resetting/clearing local saved data didn’t work.

If only 343 would acknowledge that there is an issue and that they are working on it.
Clients kept in the dark is never a wise business decision.

Just think of the fact that this client purchases a 70$ game, then a 60$ xbox live card to be able to play online, then 2 Req packs of 25$ (Warzone & Arena), then 3 Gold Req packs of 3$ and spent days working to upgrade his stats and arsenal.

And now your company comes up with a patch that stops this client from being able to play online (Back to level 1 and Retrieving data message) and cannot even tell this client you are working on a solution or even acknowledge the issue.

And why do we have to report issues a forums?
Don’t you guys make enough money to have a call center?
And are you guys familiar with a class action lawsuit?

I mean if all of this would be free, no biggie, but the fact that you guys charged me 190$ and now you can’t deliver, well, that makes me very upset.
Hope you guys can acknowledge the issue asap and fix it.

BOOM! This guy hit the nail on the head. I check back daily and still see no acknowledgements. This is a major problem that is affecting many people! We should never have to “clear local saved games” or re-download the whole thing in its entirety. I have many different saves on different games!

This is to the point where they should be hooking us up with free content because paying all this money in micro transactions, and not even getting to enjoy the benefits, is getting ridiculous.

Hey guys - I have an update: my profile is back up and running BUT that’s after I personally tweeted about the issue to @Halo @Brav and @Unyshek (the last 2 are 343i employees). They replied back and said they would look into it and it appears as if my profile is working as intended. That’s the good news…

While I’m happy my profile is up and running, I’m very disappointed with the MULTIPLE hoops I had to jump through to get everything back to normal. I’m sure their team is super busy but the fact that I had to create 2 forum posts, call XBL customer support, research 343i employees twitter handles, and personally tweet them from my account is a bit drastic. They should either…

  • a) have a support twitter handle who is solely responsible for answering/responding to support questions for Halo (just like Xbox does) - b) have someone closely monitor/respond to the actual support forum posts on their website - or c) have everything work as intendedLastly, going silent when a game-breaking bug like this surfaces is never a good thing. And yes, it was game breaking - no games counted, no EXP was granted, REQ’s weren’t available…I could go on and on. Acknowledgement of the problem would go a long way but I heard nothing. An issue like this - while it may seem small to 343i in the grand scheme of things - is VERY important to the community.

All in all, I love the Halo franchise and I think H5 is a phenomenal game but community communication definitely needs to improve and bug/glitches like this need to be addressed/worked on much quicker than they have been in the past.
