Is my profile name (LankyJMonkey) supposed to be the same as my xbox live gamertag? It doesn’t match my gamertag, although it is similar (Ser LankyJ). Also, my profile is showing 0 kills/deaths/games played/everything… It’s just blank. I’m not really sure why this is the case. Anybody know what’s up and able to help me out?

Are you using the same email address associated with your gamertag? If you log into Halo Waypoint using the username & password you use on Xbox Live, then it will pull through your correct gamertag.

Its either one of two things…
Your either using a different email address, or you have taken the a gamer-tag of a old halo player that is no longer active. If that’s the case then, you may get their emblems, but you will never get their stats, because well, you didn’t earn them.
