Prof. Anders in Infinite?

The last we saw Anders was at the end of Halo Wars 2 when a Guardian approached her on the Halo ring.

Will Anders play a role in Infinite of some kind? The fact that we haven’t seen any Guardians or Prometheans in advertising implies that the end of HW2 happens before Halo Infinite. Did Anders accidentally end up on Zeta? Thoughts and opinions on this?

Yeah we don’t seem to have any active Guardians around currently. In fact, I think the only Guardian we’ve seen was during the recent Campaign bit. One was kind of just dead in the background with debris like ships and what not around it.

As for whether Anders will be in Infinite, maybe not at the start. Maybe she’ll come along during some kind of expansion, I’m personally hoping to see a reuniting with the Spirit of Fire down the road.

Nothing is impossible, but this one is at the moment not likely to happen.
Anders is on another ring, Alpha Halo’s second replacement ring.
We destroyed the original one in Halo CE, then we destroyed its replacement in Halo 3. The Ark managed to complete the second replacement in Halo Wars 2.
Now, Zeta Halo, if I’m not entirely wrong, is one of the original twelve rings, yes, twelve. Heavily featured in the Forerunner book series.

Iv’e been trying to figure this out, with the UNSC fleet pretty much wasted, it depends what happens.
The downed guardian in campaign has a UNSC ship around it, which looks like Infinity, and can explain how UNSC tech is on zeta halo. If that is Infinity, then how we gonna get off zeta halo? It could be the spirit of fire turns up.
Infinite is at least 2 years after halo wars 2, so it’s possible.
There really should be some kind of college classes for halo lore   :see_no_evil: :hear_no_evil: :speak_no_evil:

In the two most recent books Guardians are still being avoided

I was talking about from what we’ve seen in the game. The Guardians in the books don’t matter if the Guardians themselves don’t tie into Infinite directly.

Also, you really should spoiler things like that, not everyone is caught up yet on the books.

This makes the most sense especially after one of the trailers showed Pelicans transponding to UNSC Infinity and than going dark, or appearing with a red X over the names and units. Could mean the ship went down and local communications down with it?

Maybe a side mission is setting up satellite communications between all the FOB Bases.

Was just going through trailers at 0.25 speed, and yeah, that bit where pelicans transcending to Infinity that go dark, the one that doesn’t would be the one with the pilot, so I’m sure it would be pretty safe to say Infinity would be at zeta halo and surely has to of gone down with the guardian
