Anyone else not getting credits? I’ve come back to play reach with a friend and I want to rank up faster. I’ve used the custom challenge system before so I’m sure that I’m doing everything right i.e. setting the challenging, turning it in, monitoring my credits carefully and checking for the reward from the game following the turning in of the challenge.
I used to get the cr fairly quickly and didn’t this time, so I decided to wait until the challenge was supposed to expire even though I already turned it in and still no dice. So, is anybody else having issues with custom challenges?

Except an update in, I don’t know, a few months.
anyways, custom challenges are basically a legit way of boosting. It makes me laugh that people care about rank and/or armor pieces enough to use custom challenges to rank up quickly.
Everyone finds different enjoyment out of games. I enjoy ranking up and receiving unlockables, that’s been the same in Halo 2, 3, 4 and pretty much every other game with a ranking system that I’ve played. I can’t see how using custom challenges in firefight or competitive playlists is any different from the regular daily/weekly challenges other than the frequency of the challenges as well as reward. Speeding up a legitimate method is not boosting. However, I digress, discussing the ethics of custom challenges isn’t my aim. I’d like for them to fix this system and it’s a shame that Reach is so unpopulated/forgotten.
Will we receive a notification when this issue has been resolved? I know that there are many players that have been affected by this issue but do not frequent the forums. myself included, in fact. I only just found this thread by searching for this issue two days ago. Additionally, will we receive back-logged credits that we should have been awarded? Many of us that still regularly play Halo Reach love the fact that we have the opportunity to create Custom Challenges and earn credits to unlock the rewards we all look forward to, it is especially helpful for Xbox Live Silver members such as myself that do not have access to the Multiplayer daily/weekly challenges that provide most other players with their credits. In short, this is a very important feature for a lot of us, even though most of the people affected do not frequent the forums. We appreciate you looking into it, thank you.
