I started a legendary run of the MCC the other day. I was able to play the game aok last night. Today, the game does not want to launch. It tells me to put in the disc or verify I am logged into the account that bought the game. It was a digital purchase and I am logged into the correct account. When I click on “see in MS store”, it shows the game as being installed and gives me a “play” button. When I click on that it brings up the same 0x0803f8001 error. I rebooted the xbox and my router. All other digital purchases work aok. I finally called support and they had me go through all the motions I already went through. He was unable to resolve my issue and bumped me up to the next level of support. He told me I should get an email with a resolution eventually. Very frustrated here and wondering if anyone else is having issues today.
Did you remove the disc from the drive then re-insert it?
See this issue before. Usually removing the disc then reinserting it. Try a hard Reset with out the disc in. Then load the disc.
It was a digital purchase. It seems like my license has expired, still no word from support
24 hours later and I still can not launch the game. Still no word from support. All other digital purchases work aok.

Maybe is your ISP connections or router settings. IT’s not the game. Check your Internet configurations. Try removing the game and res-installing the game again. Trust me, game is working for me and others.

MCC just loaded correctly for me. Going to go play last map on H2 on Legendary.

So its problem with my connection when im connected thru wire, 150/10 mbit down/up… you surely dont know anything about internet stuffs or the game ( people have been complaining about alot of stuff that aint working ) =))))
And im not gonna uninstall MCC cause of 343 messed up the game BIG TIME and yet havent fixed it… its -Yoink!- stupid. launching the game “normal” in singleplayer and it works, co-op it gives me and my friend the finger.
20 minutes ago, the game would still not launch. It kept giving me the 0x0803f8001 error. Played a game of H5 WZ FF, then tried again. Game is now working and my save was still intact (middle of Two Betrayals on H1). So happy I can continue my legendary run!

Sounds like something got fixed with yours.

No need to uninstall MCC, try un-installing ODST. Then re-install it. Seems like something is corrupt on your console is all.
IF this still fails, contact MS game support. They’ll help you out.
Mines working. Launched ODST yesterday. I played H2 last nite and completed Legendary Solo.
