Sprint-Have two different playlist, A halo 2/3 list and a Halo 4 list (ex. Halo 2/3 playlist has no sprint and the Halo 4 list does has sprint.)
Spartan Ops and ordnance drops- Replace Spartan Ops with Firefight and put ordnance drops in Firefight but instead of weapons it drops ammo.
Armor- Make it look like Reach
Loadouts-take out or get rid of power weapons(boltshot,PP, etc.)
Thats all I could think of, post your comment about this.
I don’t think those really solve anything. Having two playlists may seem ideal, but which one will the core gameplay be? You can’t just remove a feature like sprint and expect the rest of the game to hold up. It certainly didn’t work in Halo 4 when that was tried.
having 2 different playlists with a so big change will split the community to either liking the one with sprint or not. Think about map design having maps that are designed to have sprint and not sprint will be extremely hard. and Guardians is supposedly going to have e sports to, which one will they use? no matter which one they choose the other part of the community will feel sort of alienated.
I didn’t like reach armor felt to gimmicky and not like an actual super soldier

Believe me.
This has already happened.
And this thread is just like all the rest. Make the next Halo title appear like Halo 4 never existed.
