I’ve been thinking of why Griefball in Halo 5 is such a problem with the community and game play itself. Here are the numerous problems with it and why it lacks good game play.
1) AFKS: This is probably some of the reasons why this game mode is so annoying and frustrating. The amount of people who leave games or afk gets on my nerves and others when this happens and leaves the game not fun at all. Going for a 3 v 4, 2 v 4, or even 1 v 4’s can be such a pain in the -Yoink-. It just doesn’t make sense for others players to conflict others fun into a senseless match.
2) Betrayals: Killing teammates on accident or purpose. Being able to kill your teammates should NOT be a thing. Having the Gravity Hammers and its enormous power can deal some damn good damage. But the fact that there are trolls killing your teammates is not fun. And when when there’s a time where it was on accident and you get booted is stupid and could leave to a for no reason ban, and think about it, you losing a player. You’re gonna lose without them ( unless its a troll ). It’s an Arena game and there’s friendly fire, but it shouldn’t be with Gravity Hammers, it’s just annoying
3) LAG ( or it could just be me ): Yeah you thought you killed that guy but apparently he’s not dead and kills you instead. The lag spike that happens between players is unacceptable. Maybe if possible 343 could change where game servers would find the best connections to let players play with, but this is just my opinion what they should do.
These were just my opinions on this game mode. Hopefully there will be conversations about this. Thank you Spartans. GL and HF.

Just get into your grif-hog.

I fixed your post, deleted some doubles and other boring stuff.
wouldn’t grif-hog just be rocket league?

Nah it’s better. You drive a 3 seater scout hog. Driver, passenger, carrier.
- driver drives.
- passenger holds a grav hammer than swats away other hogs.
- carrier snuggles bomb.
The carrier can toss the bomb to others and the goal is to get the bomb into a grif canon to finish grif’s job of taking down that wall. Only problem is the Reds and blues disagree on which wall.
I say lets play rocket race!
1). AFKs ruin every game type, not just Grifball
2). If you can’t betray teammates, what stops teams from using the grav hammer to push ball carriers to the other side of the map and them ground pounding for a score?
A fix is coming for booting and such, but betrayals are there for a reason
3). I don’t notice any lag

- In this situation i’m talking about Griefball
- Most of the time, it’s not just pushing the ball carrier and letting them ground pound to score, enemies can push them too.
- Yeah ik that and most of the time betrayals aren’t that useful. It’s a one time game you’ll be playing with that person ( unless its a friend ).
- Like I said, It could just be me lol
