So I played a round of fire fight arcade and got 35,000 some points but when the match was over my rank bar didn’t even go up half of an inch and it did not count any of my metals ether so what is going on here I hope there not going to make it more of a pain in the but like they did in the original Halo Reach. I almost forgot to mention my rank is not that high my rank bar should have gone up more a lot more than it did

Rank xp goes by medals earned not the points. So you may have scored a lot of points but there are max xp you can earn.
Experience is based on skill medals earned. Doesn’t matter if you have the most score or assists. Sprees, weapon kills (such as sniper) and other medals determines your score. Just finishing gives the base value.
I have noticed on the odd occasion that after a match I’ll only get the xp for completing the game despite getting plenty of medals in both categories. Has definitely happened twice in FF and once in multiplayer. Seems like some sort of rare glitch.
