I notice that when you are shot with any bullet in halo 4 your walking and sprinting speed is slowed down quiet a bit
Im guessing its due to how many bulelts hit you
but when Im shot with even 1 burst shot from a battlerifle I slow down to just a walking pace if sprinting and almost a full stop if walking
are they going to fix this?
and also I hope they remove battle rifle from swat its almost impossible to beat at close range
That actually is a new feature :). 343i wanted to stop peeps from running up to people and melee killing them.

Go back to Reach.
They will most likely not fix it. The BR also flinches players the most, due to a single shot being 3 separate bullets.
In SWAT, just spam the Magnum up close. It only takes 3 body shots or a single headshot to kill.
cough stopping power and you aren’t that slowed when shot unless you let go of the stick when shot. 
And NO, just GOD NO to removing BR in swat.
I pick the DMR in SWAT anyway. The aim assist kicks in at a greater distance than it does with the BR, and if you’re good you can beat people at close range anyway.
They’re NOT going to remove the BR from SWAT.

although i think itd be bad to remove the br. i think it would be better to have the voting more like reach where we could have br swat, dmr swat, and swat magnums.
Well yeah, the BR is meant for close range in SWAT. But try killing someone from across Complex with it, and you won’t have much luck. This endeavor is much easier with a DMR, though, and that’s where the balance is.
However, this balance is not maintained in normal modes. The DMR wins out all the time when it isn’t SWAT.

exactly. teh map is too big and almost always results in people camping up top and spawn killing. not spawn trapping which is just as bad but flat out spawn killing.

It kind of is, but I also feel the range dynamic is pretty good at times. Makes me think whether to pick a DMR for ranged engagements or a BR for closer ones; something that is lacking from other maps I’ve played on SWAT, where the BR is always the best choice.

wow wish i could play those maps with you cuz im pretty good at swat. was in reach and 3. but in here i either get the first shot and get the kill. or the second i notice someone they drop me with the dmr. although this is probably because im getting matched with people my skill level but still. the dmr almost always wins out. and ive almost got my br mastered and then ill switch to the dmr and i am positive my k/d will jump because of it. and that makes me a little sad.
