Just to preface this: measuring my ping is consistently 14-15, my download speed is ~280 Mbps, and my upload is ~45 Mbps. I do occasionally have minor lag issues with other games, but it is rarely an actually problem.
(Those stats are from a laptop, according to my Xbox my download is ~100 Mbps, upload 36 Mbps, latency 28 ms.)
Playing MCC has been an absolute nightmare recently, I have been dropped from matches all the time, I probably haven’t finished the majority of matches this week. Lag has been so severe that I cannot move around the map, a lot of the time I can’t shoot anyone, I have almost no chance of picking up weapons on the ground, and often just randomly die.
I’m definitely somewhat skeptical of the consistency of my internet. But honestly it seems like most of my issue is specific to MCC, any ideas what the problem(s) could be? I have had my Xbox One since 2014, so it is getting on a bit, but still seems to work fine.
