Hey. Gamertag Vampyre0422 here. ok, so I got the LE of Halo 4 (sweet right? only NOT). I love the game. the problem is with the pre-order bonuses. my dad put in all the codes, I figured, ya know, ok, avatar stuff goes to whos ever profile signed in the codes. but I was under the impression that the in-game content (forest skin, arctic BR, Prime armor skin, Prime AR skin, scanner & strider helm, assassin emblem, bone breaker emblem, Mjolnir emblem) were distributed among the all the accounts on the Xbox? >.< am i missing something? because every other game i do this on the code gives the in game content to everyone on xbox… (i assume that it is unlocked from the disc)
I understand where you’re coming from, but you have to think about this from a business stand point for a second.
These pre-order bonuses are visual augmentations to your character that will follow it everywhere it’s used, both on your xbox and online ie. Waypoint. What would stop me from having all of my friends come over and recover all their gamertags on my xbox then enter the code and give the armour bonuses to all of them. Then they go home and voila! Free armour without the need to pay an extra $40.
It really depends on the type of bonus it is. Some will not follow your account everywhere ie. an extra map or cave in an RPG, while others are tied directly to your in game character.
I bought the limited edition and put the codes for the DLC in on my own account and it keeps dissappearing on me I deleted it and re downloaded it and when I rank up it says I’ve unlocked it BUT its not in my stuff

but i used it to my account and it keeps disappearing on me. 343 you need to fix this.
because on any other game, (I.E. Borderlands 2) i got all the cool stuff and codes for my profile, put them on MY PROFILE, and my dad got them as well… same with space marine, etc. i would appreciate of 343i can do someting like send extra set(s) of codes to the people that have more than one profile on their console so everyone on the console can get it or something like that…
but to make it even worse, the people at gamestop told me that at the bear minimum the In game stuff would just unlock for all profiles on our xbox.
I have the same issue with the dlc. My fiance and I share an xbox; meaning, two GT on one box and purchasing the game twice to benefit from what I should be entitled to. I do not make much as it is, the only reason I forked over the money for the limited edition was because I am a BIG fan. My fiance had to go in to buy the game while I was at work, and I had to work overtime to even afford it.
So basically I am being told, “Too bad, we want more of your money”? I do not believe it the case. I think there is a glitch/bug that needs worked out. All of the dlc that we share on our console is available to me with exception to Halo 4.
I am hoping that the forums are moderated enough that an admin might direct me to the best possible solution, or even someone to help.

The pre-order bonuses for armor/weapon skins are exclusive to the designated distributor, and thus not available later. I believe that was the single only thing that will be for specific players only. But I shouldn’t be penalized for the fact that it makes no sense to buy two copies of a game for one console. I have said it before and I will say it again, I think it just needs tweaked; However, by the time that an issue like that may be resolved it would be moot. I would like to benefit from the specializations like I was excited for in the first place.
Lastly, If there is the same issue with Map packs, I will NOT purchase another halo game again. Which is sad because I own all released up to this point.

i make no guarantees this will help but me and my wife both play Xbox, i keep my licenses for my downloads on her Xbox so she can use them, but since i downloaded them i can use them on any Xbox, she can only use them on that Xbox. what I’m getting at is is your dads account set up for his licenses to go to the Xbox your playing on or another Xbox. look for license transfer in your account management.
I too am having a similar predicament. I downloaded the codes to my account, and when I turned o my game, none of the armor customizations nor camouflage were on my Spartan Card? All of the stuff I was supposed to get, were not implemented. Also, when I put in the code, it did say that it was redeemed and that my content was available. So it is not a problem with me putting in a wrong code.
