Why on the multiplayer is there no armor to unlock meaning you have every item from the start?
and also what is the ranking system is there only the levels 1 upwards and no ranks such as corporal?
is there also a way to get other peoples maps to play on custom games?

There are avatar and nameplate unlockables, which are actually pretty cool.
The ranks are based on the halo 2 ranking system. The private, coporal, etc. ranks were the halo 3 multiplayer, hence not in this game.
Not sure about number three. Can someone else shed some light on this?
Oh wow so even if you play the halo3 MP you will still go off the halo 2 ranking
and suppose having everything basically unlocked is lretty cool but at the same time boring
