If you are gonna let MCC hang out to dry like this, can you at least make the management of the game a more community oriented structure? That way you don’t have to manage it and can focus on the Infinite cashcow.
They aren’t really letting it hang out to dry… The community is… Gamers today are all about “what is out now”… Not what came out years ago. So many complaints about infinite that aren’t issues in MCC yet players won’t play it since it isn’t “new” or “free”. Odds are with the player count dropping they won’t put much more effort into MCC. MCC even drops off the “most played” list in the store now. Hopefully we will get the flood fire fight at some point and maybe even one more season but I wouldn’t hold your breath on that.
I mean 343 has stated they will be updating MCC throughout 2022, and when Infinite dies after season 2 launches with NONE of the appropriate fixes being made, people will go back to MCC. The only reason Infinite HAS a population right now is because people want to give season 2 a chance to see if the game will course correct or continue heading towards the metaphorical iceberg that’ll sink the game on impact.
