I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who suffers from this problem, In past Halo games we had a File-share option which let’s people choose which maps they created to upload for others to download and play. In Halo 5 on the other hand, any forge creation is automatically stored on a public server whether they want their map on there or not. I ask of 343 Industries to give us the option to make maps private so no one can play on them if you don’t want them to. Please add privacy settings to forge in Halo 5 please 343.

I would like more privacy too. I fear for forge map plagiarism on my ongoing projects.

This is all I would want really… protect the original creator of the maps. I wouldn’t be cool for some one to have spent who knows how long on a map and some one steal it and gets credit or simply makes some simple changes and then get credit.
I don’t forge but I can see why it’s necessary and yes, the privacy setting should be there
Nothing necessarily wrong, but fear of map plagiarism is a good fear. 343i should add a copy lock feature, or a feature where the original map can only be downloaded from the original creator, and the map cannot be edited in Forge.
I could understand that. If someone took a map that you put hours into and claimed it as their own I could see how that could be highly upsetting.

I can see forge makers taking more than a day to make a map, with 5’s system an incomplete map they saved to work on another day gets posted to the community ergo A) spoiling something they wanted to present to the community B) putting out an incomplete map that may not function as intended yet
