I have absolutely -Yoinking!- had it with Prisoner. Not only does it come up nearly half the time in Classic, but it has horrid spawns. I’ll be on the overshield ledge, and an enemy just spawns right behind me. The same happens at the initial team spawns! How has this gone practically unnoticed by 343?
I love the Anniversary playlists, but this is really one of the only things that ruins it for me.
I don’t think the spawns are really bad, just a bit claustrophobic.
Close spawns can be okay, but if an enemy can assassinate you within two seconds of spawning, it’s too close of spawn.
I think the blue side spawns are broken. Everyone spawns on red side.

There are other tight maps in Reach, but none have spawning as bad as Prisoner’s.
It’s ridiculous. No one should spawn 2 feet behind a player unless it’s a teammate.
When someone spawns behind you, it normally has something to do with your teammates being in all other possible spawn areas. If you know your way around the map, and know the spawning sequences and possible areas for enemies to spawn in, you can easily set up a spawn trap, like most of my team do.
I have personally never been spawn trapped on this map, mainly due to the fact that I never allow myself to be put in that situation.
But Blue Side does have issues. Not once have I respawned over there. It’s always Red Side
