Anyone get a 3d print of your Spartan yet? How’s it look? Reviews please! I’m wondering if I should get it.

I saw a thread saying they were terrible, they looked… ok I guess. If I can find it I’ll link it.
Even for a 3d print they dont look great in quality. Quite blurry in details and he texture looks bad. I wouldve been happier if they were modular base pieces (ie the plate, under armor and stance type) that the customised armor was fixed onto. Youd end up with better quality statues albeit slightly higher prices, but itd be worth it for the overall quality.

lol. I am curious too. I want to see some of the more pokey or sharp edged armors. Or one with the helmet and armor I want but I doubt that will haplen.

Well, after much waiting (and a hefty UK import/handling charge!!), it has arrived!
Honestly, I have mixed feelings…
I love the fact that it’s MY Spartan and it’s quite obvious that the armour and colour patterns are correct. It’s quite cool having it next to the TV!
But, it feels kind of… Splodged…? The colour pieces are all there and each bit is defined. But I can’t help but wonder if the level of detail attempted is too high.
All the detail elements are there but the model itself is pretty flat. So where there would be grooves on the actual armour, the model has them as lines, but without any great depth.
Maybe my expectations were too high, but it all feels like one big lump. Belly391 mentioned about a using a modular system and I think that would be spot on . You’d get much better detail.
Overall, I’m pretty happy with it. I won’t be getting another one (Primarily because of the extra charges by UK carriers!!), but I don’t feel like I’ve been ripped off.
