Primordium

Please show that there are Waypoint Members with an open mind, bcuz then I might actually be active on here like Bungie.net.
A member from Bungie.net shared his theory of Precursor being Flood. This was 2 years ago, and after Primordiums release that has been confirmed. Kudos to him and any others whove thought the same! Now, a friend of mine made this for you Reclaimers, copy and paste to visit the video,

Great vid, but your posting at a time when most of the forum is dead, if you want a more lively audience its best to come back during the afternoon, or when possible news of halo 4(or anything involving the halo universe) is about to be released. Either way good luck and goodnight.

It is not confirmed that the Precursors are Flood.

It is confirmed that the Primordial (Captive) was a Gravemind.
But he was either just a Gravemind that thought he was a Precursor, or just a dead Precursor reanimated by the Flood.

Nothing has been said about ALL the Precursors being Flood.

Apologies for any mistakes.

Um The Primordial Said There was no difference between the Flood and Precursors and then states the Precursors that Created the forerunners Left along with it being the last of its kind.

Therefore, One of the Precursors Races gave themselves up to the flood (Which seems to be the mantle) becoming them.

All of this is in the Last few pages of Primordium where the Didact is speaking with it, so you might want to re-read that.

And if the OP is referring to a List of similarities between the Gravemind and Primordial i wrote that. If not, ignore this.

I think there is more to it than that. The primordial said “I am the last of this kind”. This could suggest that other precursors, the ones who escaped the forerunners during the war and continued creation, could very possibly be different. Not throwing out the other theory, just saying there is room for others. Let’s also consider that the primordial could be deceptive in a lot that he says to them.

And to the OP, how about you just assume open minded people lurk within the waypoint forums consider probably 90 % of us also are bungie members. And if thats not enough you should do it simply because anything you post in bungie universe about primordial, Glasslands, halo 4 or any other thing you discuss over there that is developed by 343, HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BUNGIE.

As the Resistor stated above, the Primordial refered to itself as ‘the last of this kind’, indicating that the Primordial is not the same kind of Precursor that inhabited the galaxy prior to the Forerunners and Humans.

This would mean that he would have to be a dead Precursor reanimated by the Flood and become a Gravemind.

That is what i just told you and no it doesn’t you are just forcing an assumption of yours.

Do you know why the Flood stopped attacking the humans? Because they were willing to give themselves up to the flood, thus they held up the mantle and the flood was recalled. The Primordial Is expecting the ENTIRE RACE of humanity to offer themselves to the flood if not then they don’t get unity and wisdom- the mantle.

I am Leaving out “The Cure” because that is tricky since MB states there is a Cure and The Primordial implies there isn’t. I believe there is one since The Primordial would tell the Didact there was.

So what your saying is that the Mantle isn’t a belief system adopted by a race with the intention to preserve all life in the galaxy, like we have been lead to believe so far. But instead the Mantle is just a race deciding to give itself up to the Flood for a greater cause?

Perhaps the Humans found a Cure, but the cure wasn’t realy a Cure, but a perticular way of thinking.
Hear me out.

The Flood is a test created by the Precursors, a test to see which species will take responsability for the Galaxy once they have left.

The Humans answer to the Flood was to infect themselfs with this ‘Cure’ and then sacrifice themselfs to end the Flood and save all life.
A Noble thing to do.
And so the Flood spared the Humans (making the forerunners think the cure worked) because they believed the Humans were worthy enought to take on the Mantle.

The Forerunners answer to the Flood was to just kill all life in the Galaxy and then let life start again. The fact that the Forerunners died aswell was not sacrifice, but colateral damage!
Plus the fact that the Forerunner murdered most of the Humans. The Forerunners were not worthy of the Mantle for these reasons, and so they would never find a ‘Cure’.

The Resistor. Telling me in All Caps that Bungie has nothing to do with 343 is mistakened on your part. You act like I dont know that -_-
Theres still a lot of members who are active on Bungie.net forums than here… and interesting as well. Waypoint forums is a new to me and something id like to be more active like I am in B.net, just bcuz you say that, doesnt mean there is PLENTY of members that discuss all that is Halo on their Website!

Yes. Cryptum and primordial show how effin hypocritical and bias the Forerunners are. The Ideal of the Mantle was flawed from the start since there is no way an Alien Ideology or religion could be properly handled by another alien race, especially millions of years later over a period of thousands of years.

The Forerunners have exterminated races (Primordium), imprisoned races to Quarantine zones (Cryptum) and even wrongfully de-evolved a race merely for what they perceived as an “attack”. The Entire forerunner Saga has a massive pretext with the corruptions of ideologies and religions that Greg bear is trying to get people to understand,

If you know that -_- then act like it. While your at it, go ahead and respond to the reply I gave you on you’re bnet post similar to this one. You know, the one where you call the entire waypoint community incompetent and “unable to comprehend” your post. Im kyle312 over there, and you are a jerk.
In summation, stop littering your crap in the bungie universe forum that isn’t a part of the bungie universe. And don’t use the other morons that do it as an excuse, novice.

The Resistor. You mistakened me yet again. Its the Halo 4 Fanatics that are the morons that ive disliked on waypoint. Yet here are members within this forums that are intruiging and actually contribute their knowledge. Just because you interpret my forum and insulted me with name calling like a child; without questioning my intent, which technically isn’t my fault.
