Is the Prime skin only for Recruit Armor or can it be applied to all armor sets?
I’m hoping it can applied to all.

Armor Skins can only be applied to a specific armor, so the Prime Skin is only for Recruit.

Well that sucks!
Change this please 343.

Skins are designed for the armor, each armor set and weapon comes with 2 different skins i believe.
The prime skin isn’t a normal in game skin though so I’m wondering if it will kinda be like the flaming head in Reach. Since its exclusive I’m really hoping it is universal to all armor sets.
We will see in 3 days 11 hours and 24 min!(central time)

Let me rephrase that. Each weapon and set of armor has one or two skins CUSTOM made to make it look unique and awesome.
How would PRIME fit over the huge mass that is GUNGIR?
How would Arctic Br fit over the lightrifle?
While it would be really cool to have the skins resize themselves and such. This will not be in halo 4.
I’m just saying no one knows for sure, it might resize for different armor sets you never know. The arctic BR skin could fit on the light rifle if they made it fit all it. It’s all just a code in the game which can easily be changed if they chose to do so.
Here’s the list of what PRIME can go on:
Recruit Helmet
Recruit Shoulders
Recruit Torso
Recruit Arms
RG-63 Counter Legs
The Legs are not Recruit, and is the only armor piece that gets the PRIME Skin and is not Recruit. Recruit Legs instead get the TIGR Skin.

…No, PAX gameplay confirms it too. They all have different skins.
All I’m saying is you DON’T know for sure. I doubt anyone but a select few have gotten the game and even then how do you know they have the prime skin? You DON’T know till the game is released and the prime skin code is redeemed.

Yes op, we have seen it in gameplay.

CoD can do it.

The same way that all the skins fit over all the different parts in Armored Core.

-facepalm- Cod uses an entirely diffrent system. I hope its in halo 5. But the way it is set up is totally diffrent here.
It’s a easy change in the code of the game, all I’m saying is I think it needs to be universal
> <mark>It’s a easy change in the code of the game</mark>, all I’m saying is I think it needs to be universal
No…just no. I would rather them focus on making new gametypes and implemnting new ones.
And changing the base code is <mark>not easy</mark>.
The skin is a texture. It doesn’t require any extra code except the line of code that says to turn it on or off.
If they can make the armor and skins smaller for the female than they can put skins on all the armor sets.

Easy? Easy!! EASY!!!
OT: No Prime skin is only for Recruit armor.

If they can make a most of the maps in the map packs in one day why can’t they change a couple of stings of code? The lead multiplayer map designer said they made most of the maps in one day, so explain how they can make 9 maps in one day which are comprised of hundreds of lines of code then how can they not change this?
