FireFight is still not out but don’t worry the price for the new pack is! They blew all the money on the championship so now they need more! Forget about more servers or fixing the current ones lets just keep throwing money into MLG. Sorry non Americans looks like they forgot about you again.
Yeah anyone outside of America has problems because low pop at launch then it kinda fed back into the problem where people would leave because “bad servers”
It sucked that buying it with money was mandatory.
Wait…
I was going to come and make this exact post as a parody, should’ve known someone would make it seriously.

Oh the naivete…
The pack is not worth it for me
If only I could spend an in-game currency instead of actual money on the newest pack.
Blew all their money on MLG… Has anyone ever done a quick Google search on how much money Halo makes and Microsoft makes?? Both are billion dollar companies. Halo 5 made half a billion in like 2 days of release. They have definitely made well over tens of millions of $$$ on REQs and they threw a measly few million at e-sports, big whoop. Of course they want to keep money, that’s what businesses do.

The technology just isn’t there yet, man. In time, in time.
$10 for a req pack $10!? They’re charging the price of a map pack for RNG unlock items in the game.
please please please tell me this isn’t restricted to real money only. Either way it’s just sad. Requisition points have just ruined customization and unlock progression for me.

To be fair they certainly push $$ purchases even if it is subtle. Three gold packs cost $9 or 30000 REQ points. These “special” packs cost $10 or 80000 REQ points. I can forgive the gold pack bundles being cheaper (although I still wish you could buy those with REQ points) but the discrepancy between real money and in-game currency is too much for me to be happy with.
EDIT: Sorry, I thought you were being sarcastic.
Oh darn another company thats trying to earn money, how dare they, why can’t we all just work for free
To the people who say this isn’t bad because you don’t have to spend real money to get it. The problem is that 343 grossly devalues req points when these limited time packs come out. Lets do the math. The 343 established worth of req points using the standard gold pack for a basis is that $1 is equal to 3,333 req points. Now when these limited time packs are offered, $1 is equal to 8,000 req points! It’s a shady method of pressuring players to spend money because the req point option is now ridiculous. Using the 343 established worth of req points, the pack should cost 33,333 req points or 35,000 to get a nice even number. They would still make their money but at the same time not violate their own currency system and people would not get as mad.
Last time I used my card it was frozen so I had to take it off my account. Now I have to buy ms cards lol. Damn these videos are costing me money lol

Stop making sense like that… people don’t want to hear it. lol
Really though… I always laugh when people say things like ‘how dare a company try to make money’. Condescending, over simplistic response is what it is. Nobody is that stupid that they don’t get it.
I couldn’t possibly care about 343’s money, nor the fact that they’re wanting to make money, that’s a given. I care about my money. I’m fully aware that I don’t have to spend it… and I haven’t spent any real money on any req… at. all. Nor will I.
What you’ve pointed out about the devaluing of req points is an excellent indicator of a system that plays on impatience and lack of willpower. Throw in RNG prizes and a few seconds of ‘anticipatory build up’ when opening a req pack and you have the gambling thrill covered as well. The fact that there isn’t a requirement to buy doesn’t really help those kinds of people… and (IMO) the old saying applies, there’s one born every minute. Just because I don’t have to buy, doesn’t make the tactic any less gimmicky.

Ah yes a mere 80,000 points because everyone gets that much in a day oh wait…
IDGAF what the req packs cost as long they are using the money to put more content in the game…like the eternal armor effect…
