I am in the XBOX Preview program and received 2 codes via XBOX message. I redeemed them via the XBOX website yesterday hoping it would auto download so that I could play today. Got home from my short trip and couldn’t find the beta. I eventually scrolled all the way to the right in the “My games & apps” section and found the beta listed under the “ready to install” column.
It finally finished installing and when I went to play it said “the beta begins December 29th.” I went to try to redeem the codes again via console but it said they’ve already been used. So did I mess up by installing the codes via the website instead of doing it via the browser?
What can I do to fix it or who can I talk to?
Same thing is happening to me bro. It’s really disappointing 
Really want someone who knows what they’re talking about to address this cause I’ve been dying to play all day
I posted the same thing on the XBOX forums. Saw another guy who had same issue and he mentioned redeeming codes via website too. Is that what you did as well?
My friend did it on his xbox, but out xbox’s are linked, so whatever he downloads, I get as well.
So his is working fine. But it allowed me to download the Beta, and I got all the way to the main menu and pressed Start and the message just popped up and it wouldn’t let me play.
Well there were 2 codes. 1 for the beta download and 1 for early access. Not sure if you can share an access code like that.
