Prevent derankers and cheaters in halo 4

To prevent Cheaters and Derankers in Halo 4 i have two suggestions.

  1. Make a Halo 4 Cheaters forum, where you could post gamertag, reason, and time. Other people could vote Yes, or No for if the guy is cheating/deranking or not.

  2. Update the ''Avoid option ‘‘on xbox live so that the people you avoid, the chances are you will’‘only meet him if he is the last person available in the playlist’’.

Thoughts?

  1. You can just PM an employee with proof, halo Waypoint is not going to become a witch hunter’s court.

  2. The avoid system works fine, if you are REALLY concerned, wait a few minutes before you start searching again.

The avoid system is not working correctly, is that why i met the same deranker 3 times in a row today? I even waited 5 minutes after the second game.

Halo is pretty good at keeping out cheaters already, it’s nearly impossible to hack online in Halo.

That seems odd, but that is -Yoink!-'s doing, not Halo’s. He probably proffered you.

Yes, hackers are nearly impossible to meet, i actually only met one hacker out of my 15,000 halo 3 games. But it is the derankers and host booters what annoys me, getting booted out or deranked at least 3 times a day is not fun.

Yes, i know it MS. But 343 are the ones who can bring the information further to them.

Play with friends in a full team=Best solution to countering deranking that isn’t so complicated and head scratch worthy. Unless you’re not serious about winning (then deranking won’t be a problem for you since you play for funsies), filling up the team slots avoids having a deranker on your team and more often than not secures victory for you, especially if the other team is getting trolled by the said derankers.

As for hacking, Halo is really good at keeping out the modders and hackers. This isn’t MW 2 you know. Sadly though, the avoid system is disapoint. As in it doesn’t work properly or at least it Reach it doesn’t.

My condolences to those who have gotten host booted in Halo 3/Reach. Should be a blacklist of people who do that.

The first option would be abused. Innocent players would get banned for no reason because other people don’t like them.

You still have matchmaking history to double check, but yes. I think the second option will work better, because then every player individually can control who they want to play with and not.
