Pretty sure there's a bug with the aim

Now I may be crazy when I say this but does anyone else run into some issues with the aiming at all? One minute my aim feels like it’s pretty responsive and then when the next respawn comes around my aim suffers from slight input lag. I play on 22" monitor and also play with the Elite Xbox Controller. I’ve never had this issue with previous Halo’s but for whatever reason, my aim feels slightly off and it gets pretty frustrating.

I’m not sure whether it’s the game’s fault or my monitor but I never have this issue with any other game I play on it. I honestly don’t know what to do. I love the game but having this issue makes me more or less unenthusiastic to play another match.

There was always something with monitors and the Xbox One i couldn’t get ahold of. So i just switched to the Tv.

The thing is though is that I never have problems with aiming whenever I play other games and when playing older Halos. Which makes me believe it’s something having to do with Halo 5 itself.

Ah, that makes sense. Well, I hope they patch it. Anything to make me better at the damn game.

Hit start, it apparently resets the input lag that occurs naturally within the game.

So is this why my aim seems to be randomly sucking on occasion? There’s a bug?

Happens to me too. I get perfect medals left and right, then the next thing you know it’s like someone with a fishing rod is tugging at the right thumbstick.

Interesting. I’ll have to try this out to see if it helps.

I never had a lag problem with aiming. However I did have problems with the sticks at one point. They were very responsive, then became less all of a sudden.

After last up date Every other game for me does this. I have to go In and change my settings to compensate for the lag.

I swear the aiming is off in the game. I once shot a Spartan two times in the head with the BR, I mean, at least a burst should’ve killed him.

I had to pull my battery on my controller to fix it. I’d be aiming at someone and go to follow their strafe and out of no where I’d get the death wobble on my cursor and die. It would act as if I’d held the stick full on in each direction. Quite frustrating.

There isn’t a bug, the aiming just sucks in this game.

With inconsistencies in the servers comes inconsistency in aim mechanics. This was never something I experienced in previous titles

I am a casual gamer, not even aspirations of pro champion and I find I have to recalibrate my controller and settings regularly, because something happens to the AIM!

Exactly. Although I don’t agree with the aiming system they use in this game (two-turn based instead of scalable from previous Halo’s) the way the aim is so inconsistent now is totally unacceptable and needs to be looked at. It was worse when the game first came out but I’m still having issues with it despite all the options they’ve given us. They seriously need to consider going back to how the aiming mechanics were in previous Halo’s. Never had issues with those games.
