Check out this oddball match, I had 36 kills. The whole match is pretty good but jump to 5:40 if you want to see a pretty -Yoink!- overkill. Like our Facebook page too if you want! it is in the description on the video. Thanks!
Excellent example of the problem with the oddball scoring system, kills are worth more then actually carrying the ball.
Nice job spamming guys with the DMR/Boltshot who were actually trying to play.
Oh… I thought you meant an Overkill with the Oddball… Not that -Yoink!-…
I will say that showed pretty good use of the hardlight shield.
But… DMR / Boltshot with Dexterity? That’s a pretty flimsy soap box 'round these parts.
Your team struggled the whole time until you decided you would participate and pick up a loose ball.
> Nice job spamming guys with the DMR/Boltshot who were actually trying to play.
Blame the game, not the player. Fool.
Did you actually watch the video? Probably bad at the game, but for starters you need someone to kill people to get people off the ball carrier which was me trying to do the best I can. My team “struggling” was because some of them just turned the game on for the first time and others aren’t that great. Your decision making must be poor and you probably get angry at the game. There wasn’t a viable time for me to pick up the ball. It would be limited to pick up a ball with 4 people around me knowing I will die when I can at least try to kill someone and weaken some of them for my team to finish off. Me dying doing none of that actually makes it harder for my team. Good job on the confirmation that you are bad though.

You are such an none aggresive corner camping bottom feeding kill jacking piece of -Yoink-. You are the worst type of player. No wonder I go into games and get a 1.0 k/d while being shot at by the whole enemy team all game and my teammates go 35 and 10.
A good KotH and Oddball team should only have one player running for the objective at a time, not everyone in a big pile. The rest should concentrate on getting good k/d spread, i.e keeping the enemy off the objective.
I’ve won far more matches where we were several team mates picking of the whole enemy team and we had one or two players going for the objective than when everyone was in a big pile going for the same objective ignoring the surroundings.
Objective games need players who mainly only kill the others.

yes i agree. but those positions should rotate depending on the players opportunities
“Blame the game, not the player. Fool”.
… Most definitely not. The player makes the choice.
Also, that Overkill was overrated and nothing more than hammering the trigger on a DMR.
What do you want, some thanks for bringing this enlightenment to the community’s attention?

Sure, it is a situational thing, but if a player is better at killing than carrying/being in an objective then I would say “do what you do best”.
There’s also a difference between players who are in the game for kills and those who are in it for the win. I do mainly only kill others to prevent them from going for the objective, but as soon as I see I can score a point with the objective or so I take the chance.
I don’t like those who are in the game for the kills, but I like those who are in it to win, but still only kill, there’s a big difference in game behaviour.

yeah i agree with this
Nice use of HLS throughout the match.

You continually ignored the ball happy to have others carry it and be a target. The ball was right in front of you at stages but you literally turned your back on it to chase more kills - easy kills since the other team were more focused on getting the ball then killing you. You only grabbed the ball at the end when there was no danger of getting killed since the other team pretty much threw in the towl. But you know whatever keeps the K/D ratio up.
I fail to understand what’s wrong with how this guy is playing Oddball? He’s killing the carrier and causing the enemy team a problem? I didn’t watch it all through to see if the team he is on wins though.
another thing i like to add. i see a couple people who like to post their overkills and killtacs. but i have not really seen one that i find interesting at all. the ones people are bragging about are so plain. and honestly i think its because of bullet magnetism and spamming n all that crap. its like it was given to you. i dont know thats my opinion. my deffenition of a -Yoink!- overkill would be out br-ing someone and then another while you had little shields follwed with a no scope or 2

No But… You got a thanks for this þost LoL
If I went negative I do not care as long as we win. Seriously look at my match history the last game I played I went negative and we got destroyed but wont the game. I just implied on my team that I was the best slaying person. Why would I cripple my team and carry the ball in the worse situations? Why because you think I should carry the load? I would carry the ball if someone else on my team could do it better than me. We won, and if you see in the match when the team gets the ball I try my best to go after them and if I stop to kill someone else it’s not so I can raise my k/d. What sense does it make to mindlessly shoot at the carrier while I could have prevented a death and kill someone who is obviously going to contribute to killing my team leave them down a man AND still shoot the carrier. I play mostly objective games and to win it. If there was an instance where it was a good time for me to pick the ball up I would have. Boltshot is OP and I know it so if everyone else is using it, I should stop using it for what? Why? What sense does that even make if everyone else uses it and me using it, doesn’t it just balance out? You are mad at me about a weapon they put in. You can use it, so use it. I am in it to win. Different load-outs for gametypes and maps. Boltshot is obviously better in close range maps and the DMR is just great for precision. Getting mad at me for using weapons in the game everyone has access to is just silly and dumb.
I agree with this I just through -Yoink!- overkill really because I thought it was funny that I blocked the sword guy with the shield and killed him. It was all I was really trying to show. Regardless I am the most competitive when it comes to objective but someone has to slay. If anyone tells themselves otherwise they obviously have no idea wtf they are doing. You can’t just mindlessly pick up a ball or just run in a base for a flag. YOU HAVE TO KILL. I was the best player on our team for it so I did it. It generates hate too which is funny. The whole team are people I know so it’s understandable for what I do. If someone else was better than me on the team I would have gladly thrown myself for the ball and not only to win, just to please you fine people. Love you all.

And to expect someone to handicap themselves when everyone around them is taking advantage of the most effective tools is foolish.
