So I could be playing another game while waiting maybe 2 minutes to find a multiplayer game? To me, that seems pointless. Its not like that 2 minutes it takes to find a game is gamers worst nightmares… I can be on my computer killing time for 2 minutes if that. I wouldn’t want to start another game while waiting for matchmaking…

So on paper PS4 looks better, but the X1 is capable of much more than simple gameplay, which I love, personally.
And?
Where’s the breath taking feature in that? How about speeding up the search times instead of gimmicks? I use my Nexus 7 whenever I’m waiting 12 hours to get a Team Throwdown match, and I don’t need all that RAM wasted for something like that.
With the changes being made to server(s) on LIVE, XBOX will be ahead of the curve when compared to PSNetwork and should have less “hiccups” too.
That could be useful with games, which have very small population or the matchmaking system is just horrible. I don’t mind the long wait times though, I usually just read something, check achievements or chat with a friend while waiting.
Yeah, doesn’t make a huge impact, but still neat, I’m sure they have other tricks up their sleeve they haven’t exposed yet too.
I don’t like how they’re making it sound like finding matches will take forever.
Hopefully this is just a little thing for long wait time games, not that games in general will be lengthened in wait time.

I don’t know about you, but if I were using that duel function, I’d use it to my advantage and keep a half window accessible for research, Skype chat, Waypoint, whatever. You’re right, it’s not that big an addition, but it’s certainly a nice one.

Actually there is a lot of games out there were you could be waiting several hours to find a match due to very low population. Normally when games ended up like that you would not even bother to search for a match and would just move on and pop in another game. At least now we will have the option to search for a match in one game and still be able to play another game at the same time.

We could browse Waypoint and actually view our CSR and stats while waiting for a game.
Yeah it’s nice to see X1 standing out more considering the negative response it had at first. I’m getting one for sure, thing is a high tech beast IMO.
