Pretty disappointed that Ricochet doesn't...

Get it’s own playlist… Why bring out an awesome new gametype that’s basically the basis of an entire DLC bundle and have it in a random playlist, with a slim chance of it actually showing up in the voting options, and of course when it does show up, all the MLG tryhards in a large party don’t vote for it. C’mon 343, make it its own playlist, like Grifball.

It will, it’s just in the champions playlist because the buyers get two weeks early access

I’m sick and tired of the complaining by misinformed. It’s exclusive access to buyers for two weeks, then it’ll change. Use some common sense.

I haven’t seen any confirmation it’s getting its own playlist.

OMG dude just check the freaking livestream or interview… Everyone knows

You guys do know it is possible to answer the OP’s question without being rude, right? He obviously doesn’t know what’s going on, just tell him instead of going “DUDE EVERYONE KNOWS ALREADY!” or “USE COMMON SENSE, GEEZ!”.

I was being polite…

But cobra is right, you guys could be less rude

My apologizes, I had no intention of lumping you in there if that is what you think.

OP, I’m pretty sure this has been in the weekly Bulletin. Some look in the ones about the Bundle for more info. But yes it will get its own playlist soon.

Ricochet definitely deserves its own playlist. In my opinion, it’s superior to Capture the Flag.

It needs it’s own playlist and I’m sure we’ll see a community like the Griffball Hub but what I really want are community made maps for it! I can’t wait to see what they will do for the game.

I don’t think you guys read the OP very well. He’s not complaining about Ricochet’s exclusivity. He’s saying that it doesn’t make sense to have a popular gametype like Ricochet combined with a bunch of regular gametypes. Some people who play in Bullseye DLC playlist want to play Ricochet, some don’t. And since Ricochet is picked the vast majority of the time, it’s not very fun towards the people who want to play CTF or Vertigo, for example.

Hopefully, it won’t be long until Ricochet has its own playlist, and the other gametypes can stay in the Bullseye DLC playlist.

Slim chance? I just want to play some slayer on the pit yet all I get is Ricochet. I’m sure it will have it’s own playlist in the future when they make some different maps for it and it’s available to everyone.

Why does me wanting to play slayer on the pit make me a “MLG Tryhard”? I suck too much to be MLG and I don’t try that hard.

I haven’t been able to play anything but this stupid new game type I payed my money for new maps not a new game type. I agree, give it it’s own playlist so people that like it can just play it over and over again and us real gamers can play standard game types

Here you go OP, it was confirmed in Thursday’s bulletin:

> Ricochet Playlist
>
> On September 3rd, when Ricochet becomes available to all players, we’ll be releasing an official, limited-time-only Ricochet playlist, where you’ll be able to play Halo 4’s newest game type across six different maps. Based on feedback from the Champions Bundle DLC, we’ll be optimizing the game type’s settings. Overall, we may be adjusting score limit, time limit and goal placement to create optimal settings across all maps. The map selection will be as follows:
> Pitfall
> Monolith
> Skyline
> Haven
> Adrift
> Solace
>
> Ricochet will also be included in the Multi-Team playlist on September 3rd. We’re very much looking forward to seeing community-forged Ricochet maps and considering them for Matchmaking at a later date. We also have a feeling that heavily customized Ricochet mini-games are going to be awesome.

Thanks for the confirmation Blues!

I too, have been having more fun with Ricochet than I have with CTF. Definitely needs to be a permanent staple to the Halo diet.

Thanks Blues, hadn’t seen that

No, we read it. Its misinformed and its common sense. It doesnt have a play list currently due to it being exclusive to DLC buyers. We knew this was coming in this fashion. Its easier for people to come and complain than take a second to go look something up.
