Anyone else find it slightly strange that xbox live has really been pushing the election thing? I know it’s important to vote but sheesh. Daily ads, rewards for watching the debates now, they even had a whole hub for it in one of the menus.

I find it… unsettling.

I’ll be hitting the booths. But I agree if you intend to just be playing Halo 4 all day, at least vote absentee ASAP (even though I don’t see what’s hard about picking up Halo 4 at midnight, playing it for a while, going to vote, and then returning to it)

The American system isn’t perfect, but it certainly isn’t as bad as you make it seem. You really want to see a false democracy in action, take a look at Russia. Sorry if I offend any Russians, but what Putin and his United Russia party are pulling is very reminiscent of the old Soviet Union.

And actually, we are democratic in a few things outside of voting for representatives if only technically.

I was planning on watching it anyway, being paid would have been a nice bonus.
