So far, I have not seen anyone confirm whether or not the preorder exclusive skins can be usable on all armors, or just the ones in the preview (ex. Web skin for CIO only). Here’s my views on it.
Evidence for all armors:
*Armor pieces are all changable (helmet, shoulders, chest), so I don’t think each body part will have it’s own skin (ex. Web for CIO helmet, Forest for HAZOP chest). It’d just look messy.
*What would be the point of having skins for only one armor? Not that great of a bonus.
*I don’t think all of those armors shown will be unlocked immediately, meaning if you preorder from GameStop, you don’t get the HAZOP armor w/ Forest unlocked immediately. I think we all start with the default armor, and get the choice of skins if we preordered.
Evidence for specific armor:
*The two helmets Locus and Deadeye have preorder skins for the helmets only. I don’t get how that would work unless helmets and other armor parts had their own skin selection.

where? if you mean the preview images, that may just be an example. I don’t think they would have it for a non-default armor unless the armor is unlocked right away so you can use the preorder bonus when you get the game.

How? I don’t see your point. It’ll be the team colour, not the colour you chose.
he means if ur armor skin was red and u were on blue team. ur skin color carries over no matter what team. if mine was green it would show up on my spartan if i was on blue team

I’m wondering how the Deadeye and Locus helmet skins would work though. If you select a full body skin, how do you have a helmet-only skin? And do the helmet skins have a specific name? Deadeye and Locus are the name of the helmets themeselves, while all other skins have a name (Forest, Pulse, etc)

Agreed. I don’t want to have to wear that Hazop armor just to have the forest skin.
OT: I’m sure that the skins will be compatible with all armors. Why wouldn’t they be?

That doesn’t sound fun… And you can’t be creative if you want a skin… You have to choose the FULL armor… And I thought they wanted us to be creative… I really hope you can put the skin on any armor
