I was wondering if the Pre-order bonuses (excluding LE items) will be released as a DLC? It was said some time ago they eventually would be, however I never saw an official statement on this matter.
bs angel said before launch that they planned to add the pre-orders to the DLC marketplace. With the obvious exclusion of Fotus, Recruit-Prime and such.
There hasn’t been any word on it since so no clue, probably waiting till all the map packs are out.

So have I. Ive been wanting the Locus helmet since before the game had come out, but I wasnt willing to spend $30 extra to pre-order it from mighty ape, and that isnt including the shipping price. Im really hoping it comes out soon, if it even will. I wish they would atleast shed some light on this matter.

I kinda like being one of the very few with the Deadeye helmet… Seems more rare than Fotus even
Yes, Retailer DLC will be released eventually.
And as soon as it does, I’m buying it Day1, and putting on the Locus helmet (been wanting it before Halo 4 even came out, and it’s the sexiest helmet of all the Halo games IMO).
I finally found the post by bs angel on this last night and included it in the above topic. Basically, we MAY get some of it in the future, but that is all they’ve ever said on it.
I think all of this was before 343 got murdered for the atrocity they released. Sorry to say but there are far more pressing issues like fixing aspects of the game then DLC skins currently.

Even if this were fact, not just an opinion (although some things need to be fixed such as no dot camo), its unlikely the team that works on balance/bug fixing also works on Dlc. Also, its not as though it would be hard to do so as the armors are already on the disc. Plus, they’re a business, I doubt theyed pass up an opportunity to make more money if they believe money is to be made.
