The short of it: I, being a shill, bought the LE of Halo 5 and entered all the codes business as usual and so on. Like certain other games, the extra content only ever applied to my own profile, not the ones belonging to my brothers. (On the other hand, some games have extra content like this apply for everyone but I digress) I expected as much to happen, however, it counts as a DLC item on the market and because I own it, it can’t be bought twice.
Considering that last part, why not allow for the premium reqs to unlock for everyone on the console? I remember that Halo 4, oddly enough, actually did the same thing until a few weeks in, at which point I could use the arctic BR skin my brother redeemed and he could use the AR Prime skin I redeemed.
Just a thought of mine. It sucks opening these things right in front my brothers and (praise RNGesus) getting something great they didn’t have the extra chance to get. I’m just so empathetic.
