Is this a glitch in matrix or do we now NEED the Anniversary map pack to play Premium Battle? I want to play some Noble and Defiant maps until the Anniversary pack comes out at midnight. WTF 343!
I am guessing you need anniversary because it does not work for me either.
It must be a mistake - the description for the playlist specifically says Noble and Defiant required.
The Premium Battle playlist features all DLC, so it will be available to you once again after you have the Anniversary maps (which go on sale in the early AM hours local time on November 15).
I’m sorry but this has to be the dumbest decision I’ve seen so far from 343.
There was only 250 people in the DLC playlist before and now there’ll be even fewer due to the requirement of the Anniversary maps.
Having all these splintered discs and map packs is going to be terrible for Reach’s attrition, a game that was already on death watch.
Hopefully they can fix it,the anniversary tab is there for that game only.There is 69 players on premium battle & I cant play with both packs.

they better fix this because im not about to dish out more money on more maps when i havent even played these yet!

Think logically the people wanting to play a DLC only playlist will want to play all the DLC. Not be restricted because some people don’t have certain DLC. I suggest you go by the anniversary maps because they are by far my favorite maps so far.

There are threads on how to fix this. please use the forum and get the maps they are awesome.
Get the Anniversary maps, as others have stated, these are the best maps on Reach and you get double the credits for playing them.
I was just trying to play Premium Battle and discovered that I can’t now that Halo Anniversary has been released.
It seems silly having an Anniversary playlist and then including the Anniversary maps in Premium Battle when it was already lacking numbers and its description explicitly states “Noble & Defiant DLC Req,” no mention of all DLC being required.
So the fix is to purchase the Anniversary map pack for 1,200 MS Points or buy an entirely different game to get access to this map pack just to be able to play an old playlist again.
You should just put Noble and Defiant into their own playlist like the Anniversary one, because no matter how successful a game is, as soon as premium DLC is released it introduces a split in the community and those of us that have been prepared to buy the content would like to able to play it without too many complications.
