Preliminary Update REQ Calculations

Disclaimer: none of this is necessarily correct or incorrect, but until we get confirmation on the contents of each update, assume that it’s generally accurate.

So, we know that we won’t have any REQs being added in March, as the Update will be released the first week of April. The upside is that we have more time to unlock the REQs we don’t have yet before we have to worry about the new ones. Now, another thing you could do with this additional time is to save up RP for the next Update, which usually only applies to those who already have all the REQs. However, for those of use who are still opening Gold or Silver Packs, knowing how much more we need to open can be helpful in terms of time management.

The last four Updates have introduced around 48 REQs each time, which usually equates to ~12 Silver Packs and ~12 Gold Packs. For the purpose of these calculations, we will assume that there will be 12 of each pack in the next update. 12 x 5000 = 60,000, 12 x 10,000 = 120,000, so 60,000 + 120,000 = 180,000 RP. So, on average, a total of ~180,000 RP should be saved for each Update, or about $60.00 (12 x 2 + 12 x 3 = 60) if you really want to.

You can save up early and then continue to buy whatever packs you need without going below that RP value, or you could just no-life the weekend before the update to get the amount you need. I personally just save up for the Silver Packs, seeing how I only need to open 56 more Gold Packs.

I have another 100 Rare to go but 80 of those are emblems. Damn these updates with their free DLC!

heh I don’t buy packs for $ and I only play on Friday and Saturday nights for around two hours apiece. Imagine how I feel

sad life

I’m with you Omar. But I went HAM for the first few months, so I thought I would be caught up by now.

Only 110 Emblems are available in the REQ System (as in they come from normal REQ Packs). Most of the Rares are for Commendations.

That sounds about right. I’ve been keeping about 200,000 saved up for each update and have a little left over. I think you’re right on with the 180,000 for each update. I like to keep a little extra for just in case. lol

I’m almost done with silver then I move to gold, I don’t think I will be saving up any RP for the next update.

I need to open 47 more Gold Packs, which I can maybe complete before the Update releases.

This is good news, I’m hoping that I only have a few more packs to open then. I better hurry up before April hits. I might spend some Government dollars on researching my exact numbers.

Here’s a list I made in case you need to know which Emblems you still need from the REQ System.

So the County has paid me to look over my remaining emblems and compare that to a list of all emblems to see which of those are not tied to a commendation. I only have 10 left to unlock of 80 in the rare category and another 20 customs/loadouts to complete the silver packs.
