Personally, I would love to be able to see the lobbies ranks and icons pre game of players. Maybe the Battle Pass rank of players or even an icon for it. Similar to how other Halo games were like.

I think the overall idea of MP for halo is still to find relatively close ranked teams as quickly as possible so it’s hard to predict if 343 put time into that aspect (or even had the time). Hopefully there’s some type, better than MCC, where you have time to view players/armors/legacy/stats, etc. take the extra 20 seconds in finding more closely matched teams and allow players to check out the other players. Just to be clear this is the lobby that after you start looking or other players either alone or with your fire team.
I said in another topic I’d like to see highest current season playlist rank so maybe a Diamond and a hammer for ranked Grifball.
Different icons for different playlists so you would know what their highest is. Then if they are that rank in multiple maybe you could select your preferred rank to show.
I’m a huge fan of visible ranks in games even if I’m not the top rank myself. It’s good to know what the game is comprised of. Not everyone has this mentality, but I’d go a lot easier on a bunch of Silver players than I would Platinum players.
I like how we get to see our teammates emblems at least. That’s cool.

Reach did a lot of awesome things and the pregame menu is definitely one of them. I loved scrolling up and down to see everyone’s spartan and customization before the match. I’d love to see that come back.
Every Halo has (something) good about the pre-game lobby, but none of them improves on it and rather changes it.
Halo 2 even let you see the players’ stats and favorite weapon. Halo 3 did not.
There’s a lot that really should be there, like seeing all Spartan animations with ability to taunt in some way, as well as stat averages, record, or preferred weapons
If the game was still rated M, it would be easier, but then again, even other games targeted at younger audiences show their character in pregame.
