I done keyboard once but watching people play on that, they just seem to move faster. Especially with the grapple, you can flick your movement so quickly as an advantage. Playing with the controller is just more comfortable for me though with the easy steady precision aiming.
But overall what is better if I want to try professionally?
I went between them too. I coudn’t decide at first. Controller felt much more comfortable and steady but the keyboard and mouse are certainly more accurate and easier to 180 with. Even with turning up the sensitivity on the controller I just couldn’t get the same reaction time without over compensating my shots. In the end I went with a keyboard for that benefit and because it was undeniable my score would always tank when I used the contoller.
Been playing halo on controller for so many years now that it’s hard to shake the muscle memory to play on it. But I still think that infinite plays more smooth on mkb, its easier aim faster and more precise. When the game releases I’ll probably make a full switch to mkb granted I can memorize using the keybindings and get over controller muscle memory.

This was my sentiment exactly, been playing on controller since h1/h2. Tried both and wound up using m/kb.
M&KB. Aiming feels very strange on controller in this game. Found myself performing better on M&KB and getting better accuracy stats closer to the high 50’s, mid 60% ranges.
