I decided to Predownload Halo Infinite, so I went to the store, so the download option, press it for gamepass, and it is giving me the multiplayer download. Does Gamepass not have the campaign version yet?
I dont think the preload for the campaign is available yet, for anyone. I’d say 30 days left they will have it go, but who knows.
Game hasn’t gone gold yet so it doesn’t really matter.
As far I know on PC, don’t worry about it until near launch. As it stands right now the game is basically non-existent at the moment. As of now, the game only takes 10 MB on PC off of game pass.
Campaign isn’t up yet.
The actual download and tile/button to launch the game on both PC and Xbox does show the multiplayer as the thumbnail. I imagine it is that way because the multiplayer is free to play so that’s what they want to show up front. The campaign will download as an add-on to the multiplayer technically speaking, so you are basically launching the Halo Infinite launcher that is for multiplayer and then are able to access the campaign/any future campaigns through the multiplayer launcher. My guess is that you will also be able to uninstall parts of the game later on such as campaigns that you may no longer wish to play so as to free up space on your storage device. Much the same way that Call of Duty currently lets you uninstall campaign for its games if you only wanted multiplayer.
I doubt it will be downloadable until maybe two or three days before release.
In the days before launch they will surely push out the latest build either way.
