i’m pretty sure we are going to war the the Didact. or the forerunners and covenant.

proof; in the level you fly a pelican, there are two marienes talking. one says; “i think we’re going to war with an alien we woke up from anchient sleep” or something like that.

i’m willing to put money on it, that’ll be the storyline for Halo 5 and 6

yup i think the didact is not death and the chief is some sort of psychic cuz he can hear the didact and cortana at the end in his head. aka telepathic so i think.

so the didact attacks earth with the prometheans and storm covenent and i hope The ARBITER comes back help chief out a hand try to convince those other elites.

or mayb the arbiter kill Jul and take lead over the storm covenent

We don’t know if he is dead or not. We saw him fall into the Composer, nothing else.

And he only spelled two words wrong, give him a break.

The Didact talks in the ending he’s obviously still alive

Well, that is an easter egg but I do think that will be the general idea in Halo 5. It is supposed to be a very dark title, so I think the Forerunners will fight Humanity for the Mantle. I think in Halo 5 there will be an invasion of Earth of some sort with tons of people dying and it looking like the Forerunners are going to return and once again defeat Humanity and devolve us to the stone age or just exterminate us altogether. Then at the end of the game there will be a brief glimpse of hope leading into Halo 6 where we will defeat them and take on the Mantle at the end with Master Chief dying to save the Human race once and for all.

the people op is referring to is conan obrien and andy ricther. its funny dialogue. only prediction i’m making for halo 5 is less sales because of the new direction the series is heading in.

In the campaign the Librarian says to Chief she has been grooming mankind to ascend the Mantle. The Spartan program, AI’s, Mjolnir armor. And in Primordial the Timeless One states that roughly around Halo 4’s humanity will be tested again for the mantle.

This incident with the Didact is not the Precursors test, therefore the Librarian has been preparing humanity for a greater threat.

  2. someone earlier said the Didact is dead, hes not dead. He is in the epilouge, and also we never actually saw him die, he just fell off the edge.
  3. even though I beat the campaign, I’d like to point out this thread should have a spoiler warning, for those who havnt done it yet.
  4. We are already at war with the Storm Covenant.
  5. The Infinity went back to Requium 6 months after the events of Halo 4 and is still fighting Prometheans there, so the aren’t finished quite yet.
