Before Halo 4’s release, there was a thread on GameFAQs asking users to predict which map they’ll like the most in H4. I successfully predicted Haven and did the same for Shatter when the Crimson map pack was announced. For the Majestic Map Pack, I think I’ll like Monolith the most. It’s small,symmetrical,looks beautiful and it seems like it would play great with just about anything. Skyline comes second and Landfall is last.

They all look… meh at best, slightly better than Crimson maps and the default maps we have but that’s not saying much.

Doubt I’ll be fond of Landfall, considering it’s asymmetrical and not a very well made map.
Monolith seems too large for my tastes of an Arena style map, but the aesthetic is nice (I love Forerunner) and the symmetry is important for Halo’s survival.
Skyline, from what I can tell, is symmetrical in a Sanctuary/Asylum sense, where both sides are reversed from each other. It looks to be a quick map with lots of encounters, and it should help get some Commendations for other weapons besides the DMR.
Can 343 ask Adele if she can do a remix of Skyfall for the maps Skyline and Landfall? If she does and the mp3 is included in the DLC, I’ll actually buy it.

How can someone say it’s not a well made map unless they have played on it? O_o
I’m predicting good fun on Skyline, even though I hate maps where I tend to fall to my death. Why can’t we just have a nice, flat map where I’m not my own worst enemy?
Eager to see how these all play out, especially in the new playlists.
None. I’m not going to get the map pack until they nerf the DMR. I don’t care how “close quarters” they say these maps are. The DMR will still beat all other weapons.
Now if they do fix the DMR and make the game bearable, I will see about getting the map pack.
Monolith. Forerunner maps and campaign missions have always been my favourite.
