For all of those who have watched the film predators (the third movie, not the first, second, or the AVPs) I just watched it on TV and noticed a lot of similarities between it and Reach’s campaign.
First off, the characters.
In predators we have many characters (8 I think) and some are very similar to noble team. We have the African who is very similar to Emile, in the movie the prisoner actually threatens him with a knife to the neck trying to get a gun, and the African, in a quote very similar to Emile’s “I’m ready, how bout’ you!” he says “I am ready to die, are you?”. He also died by getting stabbed by spears, and Emile died by getting stabbed by an energy sword.
The main protagonist, Royce, is the leader of the group, much like Carter. He sets up all of the moves that everybody makes and is the one to decide everything. He also almost dies in a ship explosion (much like how carter dies when his ship explodes crashing into a scarab)
There is also Isabelle who is like a cross between Jun and Kat. she is like Jun because she is an excellent sniper. and she is like Kat because she is second in comand. Like Jun she doesnt die.
The Russian, Nikolai, is like George. He carries a machine gun and is the biggest and toughest of them all. He also is a nice guy and basically goes suicide to save another guy (George also goes suicide)
I also think that the yacuza, Hanzo, is like noble 6. He does not talk much, not much is known about him. He takes point quite a bit. and he probably has the most epic death of them all in the movie (maybe tied with Nikoli, also six and George have the most epic deaths in the game) he goes one on one with a predator and keeps fighting even after he is injured and has lost all hope and goes down taking a predator with him.
Next there is the enemies.
The predators are a lot like elites and brutes. Big jaw is the final predator alive and he is like a brute because he does not follow the predator code as closely and uses a lot of force, his type of predators don’t get along with the normal predators and they try to kill each other (Brute Sangheli war). The other predators are like elites, they have camo, have lazer guns that can lock on and shoot blue energy balls (plasma cannon), they have an enhanced visor system, they have way more advanced technology, they have wrist blades (like the elites plasma daggers that are used during assassinations or like the elites energy swords) they have armor, and they have an honor code. One of the predators even teams up with the humans (Human Sangheli alliance).
There are also the predators hunting dogs, which are like grunts and are there to weaken the enemy and make them use all of their ammo (also can be called cannon fodder)
