Could the Precursors somehow make an appearance in the Reclaimer Saga as an enemy or in a flashback (like the Human-Forerunner war scenes in Halo 4)? Also, what did they look like in your opinion (I read Halo Cryptum and Primordium but I wanna hear your opinions on their appearance)? Post your ideas and thoughts here.
I’d be best to continue fleshing out the Covenant and UNSC before moving so far ahead. The best way to show the precursors would be a terminal flashback, other than that leave them be.

Hmm…good idea.
We’ve technically been fighting the Precursors since Halo: CE, as they predominantly exist as the Flood in current events. However, the Precursors have existed in billions of forms across the eons. I suppose we haven’t seen any of their other forms or ones which predated the Flood.
They (The Primordial) were inferred to appear large and resembling Earth’s Sea scorpions (Eurypterids). There’s actually some interesting comparisons to be made between the description of the primordial and some of the existing Flood forms.

Hmm…interesting. So they can either look like grotesque and nightmarish monsters or they might look like angelic, beautiful beings. Is that where you’re going at?

I said they’ve taken on many forms with different technologies. I also made reference to the Primordial’s description.
I never once said they were beautiful…

Wolf didn’t say that either rather than clarifying the variety Precursors can have in appearance.
Always imagined that they looked similar to crawdads

But, that would be pretty interesting to see. Maybe at one point they had a beautiful form before they used more tech to turn themselves into the Flood.
I want the experience to be like the very first time you see the Gravemind in Halo 2… that was epic… a tentacle pulling the Master Chief to some unknown creature scare the crap out of me…

During the end Precursor-Forerunner war,
The Precursors turned themselves into crystal spores in hopes of restructuring themselves in their original form,
Some spores soured and created the Flood, so the Precursors accepted this new form.
If they are to ever appear,
For now a slight information in a terminal or a description of them would be good,
But even the slightest information is yet to make an appearance in some future halo games,
And the Precursors appearance to be in the distant future halo games.
The closest you get currently is the flood actually. I believe they have some sort of connection to the precursors.

I partially agree. I think the Covenant should be over and done with, but the advancement of the UNSC seems interesting seeing as the UNSC is essentially on a collision course with the Precursors.
Well, judging from all of your comments, if we were to actually see a Precursor in a future Halo title, I hope that it looks disturbing, nightmarish, and almost demonic. Why? Well, they created the flood and the Primordial was damn ugly to begin with. Also, I want it to have a personality similar to Sauron from the Lord of The Rings. What do u guys think? Would u want to have a Precursor villain that is ten times better than the Gravemind and Ur-Didact combined?
Seeing how the Flood are essentially the final evolution of the Precursor, I feel as though it would be extremely redundant to include ‘Precursors’ as enemies in Halo 5, 6, or so on and so forth. They and the Flood essentially play out the same plot role, so it would be very redundant and probably accomplish no more than confusing the fans and leaving more questions unanswered. Let’s just have it be Flood=Precursor and leave it at that.
Actually, save that thought…
My idea for having a Precursor in the game is in Halo 5 or 6, have a terminal that shows the stasis capsule the Primordial was in, which shows it’s outline, but not the creature itself.
Or, have one of the massive four arms snatch someone without showing the Precursor itself.

Maybe we could see from the perspective of a living Precursor? The domain is a compound of organic memories, and it’s pretty much established that Halo 4’s terminals had their basis within the domain. It would be cool to experience Precursor memories; maybe one documenting their transition into the Flood.

Hmm…good idea. Make the encounter similar to some of the promotional stuff that was released for Super 8 and Cloverfield where u didn’t actually see the monster until u saw the movie.

Now that’s something that I would wanna see too.
