They are also supposed to be 40-50ft tall, so I think they will be a noble enemy. On top of it all, it is rumored that the precursors created the flood during the precursor-forerunner war.
All in all, do you think they will be MC’s greatest enemy?
also, I have a feeling we will have forerunner allies, but its just an idea.
i have never actually seen a precursor before. but i have seen the “Caveot” picture on the right, but seeing the comparison… i think youre right. Precursors have returned, and angered with Humanities victory over the flood, are hungry for revenge. i like it.
> I thought their technology was far beyond the Covenants and UNSC’s to the extent that a war would only last hours…?
maybe there is going to be a canon reason as to why humanity will actually stand a chance. i think it will be something like in a different galaxy, they were defeated by som enemy (Flood? creators defeating their masters) and it will be like ancient humanity, were their technology got basically reset. so now they are on par with humanity (besides the fact they are obviusly stronger)
never confirmed. i think what happened was during the Forerunner-Precursor war they fled the Galaxy and then created the flood, then came back and dropped off their present as payback to the Forerunners. so maybe in a way, the Forerunner-Flood war was a continuation of the Forerunner-Precursor war.
I thought the Forunners killed all the Precursors except one, who escaped and in his place was the Gravemind that converted Mendicant Bias.
If there were Precursors, then humanity is screwed. How do you kill beings that are, as the Forerunners label them, “Trans-Sentient”? The Forerunners supposedly may have beaten them once, but I don’t really know the circumstances behind that win.
I do know that if the Forerunners got destroyed because of one Precursor, then humanity is surely hopeless.
the precursors are all peoples of the mantles enemy . unless we amuse them they / the ancient one said humans have yet to prove them selfs they are looking for someone to uphold the mantle
