While I agree precursors seem to be rather defiant given how hostile they are to the races they have created, there definitely is no evidence of anything about them in that picture, specifically.
That picture is an idea of what the thing shown at the end of the concept art trailer looks like. There’s no way of knowing it’s a precursor. And just because it was posted on the wiki doesn’t mean it’s verified and true.

The captive was actually a flood gravemind so I definitely wouldn’t trust this wiki entry.

That image isn’t concept art, it’s a fan rendition of what the creature/machine at the end of the concept art trailer would look like. Why it hasn’t been removed from there baffles me, but it’s most definitely not legit concept art.
