Many of us have been discussing about what kinds of weapons the Forerunners will be using, but what about the Precursors? What kind of weaponry will they be equipped with? I think we got a glimpse at what a Precursor ship looks like in one of the CEA terminals, but what will they be shooting at us with? Any ideas, guys?
We don’t know for certian who the enemy is in Halo 4…

The fact that they could travel between galaxies in a matter of seconds and create sentient life I really dont want to know what there weapons are trembling in fear
We don’t know for certain but 343 has given the Precursors everything they need to appear in a game. Not to mention Halo: Primordium pretty much says: Precursors will be your enemy in Halo 4. Their story is not done.

I think there is enough speculation and information from the books to conclude that the Precursors and the Flood are going to be the new enemies.
Whatever it is, I hope they replace ALL previous weapons from the franchise so we can finally get over this “weapon balancing” and “noob weapons” bickering.

Let’s just hope the Forerunners will be our allies. We were almost driven to extinction by the Covenant. Imagine us fighting the Precursors alone.

Just remember what updated Guilty Spark said about the Librarian. I believe that glasslands states that the forerunners will be our ally and primordium says that we fight the precusors.

Well, looks like we stand a fighting chance if the Forerunners are with us. They’ve wiped them out before, and they can do it again. Then again, the Precursors have had 100,000 years to prepare. Oh, this series is going to be great.

Also, that wasn’t a Precursor ship, just the ship of some new race. It didn’t fit the description of Precursor tech (silver-grey, with crystaline geomotry)

I don’t think it would make sense if that was an entirely new species, but, hey, it’s a new series, and anything could happen.
Cant we say the flood in it self is a weapon people think Precursor made flood so i can only imagine what weapons they have.

They did create the flood. I just want to see some precursor weapons. they have to be amazing.

I guess the Flood could be considered a Precursor weapon, but I’m really just thinking about what firearms they’ll be equipped with.
I’m not a hundred percent on the following information, however I have heard them from some reliable sources and some may be just rumors:
- The reaper: a forerunner sniper rifle which will completely revolutionize the long range world.
- Unknown name: when the bullet hits soft tissue or a weakened shield, the player with the rifle will be able to detonate the bullet.
- New bubble shield: when the player activates the shield, only he/she will be capable of exiting and entering the bubble.
Now as I said the info above could be complete lies, I’m guessing they could be, but it’s what I’ve heard so far.

What it does say in the book is that we fought against them 100,000 yrs. ago and the flood. Remember this too, there is one remaining precursor in premordium, so you sir are jumping to enormous and exaggerated conclusions. this is to almighty343

I haven’t read Primordium, but what I’ve picked up is that the Flood and the Precursors are going to return in 100,000 years in large amounts for some reason.
