I’ve heard and read some information about them but how expansive where they?
I know they connected worlds but how, like the orbital elevators?or was it by some other means?
I know that the flood used em against the forerunner but did the forerunner use them themselves or no?

Some of the planets, they had orbital and suborbital structures like Human orbital elevator. Precursors use something called neural physics, which they use in everything. The Flood was able to use the star roads after the Primordial (a Precursor) took control of the Gravemind.
